What is the maximum duration for a single trip under the Annual Multi-Trip policy?

The policy covers an unlimited number of overseas trips within the period of insurance, provided each individual trip does not exceed 90 consecutive days.

Are there any countries where I am not covered?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the policy does not provide any coverage for trips to, through, or within sanctioned or high-risk countries/regions, including Afghanistan, Belarus, Cuba, Iran, Iraq, North Korea, Russia, Sudan, Syria, Yemen, and specific regions of Ukraine (Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia).

Will I get a payout if my flight is delayed for less than six (6) hours?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Unlike many standard policies that require a 6-hour delay, we provide a payout of $50 for every two continuous hours of flight delay.

Does the policy cover domestic helpers?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we offer an optional Helper Extension that gives you an inconvenience & emergency payout to ensure you aren't out of pocket if the trip is disrupted or if there is a medical emergency.

What if I changed domestic helpers within the year?

Accepted Answer

Our Helper Extension is provided on an unnamed basis, meaning you don't need to manually update the policy if you hire a new helper during the policy year. You only need to provide their valid Work Permit at the time of a claim.

Can I cancel my trip for any reason?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we offer an optional Cancel for Any Reason cover that reimbursements up to 60% of non-refundable prepaid expenses if the trip is cancelled for reasons not covered by standard benefits. This must be purchased within 7 days of your initial trip deposit and the cancellation must occur more than 48 hours before departure.

How do I make a claim?

Accepted Answer

To make a claim, simply visit here and follow the instructions. You must give notice of a claim as soon as possible, and in all cases within 30 days of the end of the trip. For theft or loss of property, you must also report it to local police or the relevant authority within 24 hours.

I have a travel insurance policy with another insurer. Can I claim from both policies?

We will not pay for any claim that is covered by another insurance policy, a medical service provider, a transport provider, or a hotel. We will only pay the difference (if any) between what is covered by the other provider and the total amount You are entitled to under this Policy.

If I cancel my policy, will I get a refund?

Accepted Answer

You can cancel the policy with seven days' written notice. A pro-rata refund will be provided for the unexpired period, provided no claims have been made or are pending. All refunds are subject to a fixed $25.00 administrative charge (plus GST).
